In Loving Memory of Amit Chauhan
This year, we sadly lost one of our own from the AFC Penwortham family, Amit Chauhan, father of Devyan, one of our Under 9 Blue players. Amit was a vibrant presence at training and games, always bringing energy, positivity, and a genuine desire for the best outcome for the whole squad. His infectious enthusiasm and caring nature will be deeply missed by everyone at the club.
To honor Amit’s memory, the club has decided to raise funds for a charity close to his heart: The OddBalls Foundation. After speaking with his family, we’re proud to announce that this charity will be featured on our match shirts, and we have a number of fundraising activities planned throughout the year.
